About Paul Lowry

E-mail Print PDF

Anyone passionate about their work wants to challenge themselves to grow and improve.

My abilities in composition, lighting, and production had plateaued.  I was, and still am, skilled at portrait, glamour, group, commercial, and landscape photography.  My skills were not really improving and I was getting bored.

Boudoir photography had long been something that I wanted to try, but shied away from it out of respect for my wife.

One day I mentioned the subject in passing with my wife which led to a deeper discussion.  Come to find out, she was ok with me taking erotic style photos provided they did not cross the line into pornography.  Since then, my wife has been my best critic and has seen and approved of my work.

In my opinion, nothing is more challenging and rewarding than working with models or clients to produce sensually suggestive photos.  On the other hand I do not want to confine myself as an exclusive erotic/fetish photographer.

My peers have recognized my work, and have active accounts with both Modelmayhem.com, deviantart.com, and onemodelplace.com.  The best compliment of my work came from a lady in New York who said, “I wish I could fly out to California just to have you shoot [photograph] me”

I work in all styles of photography involving people.  To view my non-erotic work click here or visit paulspix.com. To view photos a little more sensual r, so I currently do all of the previously mentioned styles of photography
